Acoustic Demos

Mike Northcutt, 2005 demo album cover

During the writing and pre-production stages of 2420 (circa 2004), several acoustic demos were made. Included below are a few songs that were considered for inclusion on the record but didn't make the cut (or were not finished). Some of these and other backlog demos may be released in the future as anthology pieces.

Cover Band Days

Switch-big

The Switch, live at Boswell's in Campbell, CA. Featuring Bryant Mills (drums), John Wedemeyer (lead guitar), and Tim Allen (bass). Mike Northcutt (a.k.a. "Kevin" in the band) on lead vocals and 2nd guitar.

Boswell's was home to many San Francisco Bay Area heavyweight musical talents in the 1990s including Greg Camp and Paul Delisle of Smash Mouth and Myron Dove, bassist for Santana.

In the early 2000s Mike performed for about 3 years with the Switch every Sunday at Boswell's. This is a random, late night clip.
